All foreign students are allowed to enter Russia!

The operational headquarters to prevent the importation and spread of the new coronavirus infection in the Russian Federation supported the initiative of the Ministry of science and higher education of Russia and lifted the last restrictions on the entry of students to Russia.

Now all foreign students, including those from private universities, are allowed to enter the country, regardless of the direct flight connections with the country from which they are arriving.

The algorithm of working with students from abroad, approved by the headquarters, is as follows:

Educational organizations must prepare the infrastructure necessary for the student to organize the self-isolation regime, if necessary (if the test is not ready or is positive).

Educational organizations must make a list of their international students. According to these lists, universities will send applications for the provision of visa support for their students to the territorial bodies of the Ministry of interior, and the Ministry of science and education will apply to the Ministry of foreign affairs.

Each foreign student included in the list will receive instructions from universities how to enter the territory of Russia. The main requirement is the negative PCR test for COVID-19.

Regional administrations will need to arrange the vaccination of foreign students.

The algorithm applies to all universities, including private ones.

Продолжаем делиться информацией о летних школах! Совсем скоро в Питерской Вышке пройдет Международная летняя школа для студентов и выпускников российских и зарубежных университетов по истории, русскому языку, бизнесу и менеджменту, а также по работе с данными.

Курсы пройдут с 18 июля по 12 августа. По окончании прохождения курсов участники Летней школы получат кредиты ECTS и сертификаты, дающие привилегии при поступлении в Вышку. Занятия будут проводиться на английском языке как в онлайн-, так и в офлайн-формате.

Вне зависимости от формата проведения каждый желающий может посетить город на Неве, поселиться в одном из общежитий кампуса и окунуться в неповторимую атмосферу Петербурга благодаря культурной программе, включающей в себя прогулку на теплоходе по рекам и каналам, а также экскурсии в музеи.

81 foreign students from 20 countries of the world graduated from the IKBFU in 2021

In 2021, more than 80 students who came to Kaliningrad for knowledge from 20 countries of the world graduated from the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (IKBFU). Future professionals from Brazil, Greece, Georgia, Cameroon, China, Syria, the CIS countries and the Baltic States received diplomas of higher and secondary education. 11 people completed their studies with honors.

Along with the diploma, foreign students received the European Diploma Supplement in English. This is an official document that confirms the successful training of a student in accordance with European standards. The European Diploma Supplement can be used for admission to foreign Universities, as well as for employment in foreign companies.

Many foreign graduates plan to stay in Russia longer to continue their studies. Some of the foreign students do not want to leave Russia, because they have found here true friends, love and home.

Среди выпускников БФУ им. И. Канта в 2021 году — 81 иностранный студент из 20 стран мира

В 2021 году из БФУ им. И. Канта выпустились более 80 студентов, которые приехали за знаниями в Калининград из 20 стран мира. Будущим специалистам из Бразилии, Греции, Грузии, Камеруна, Китая, Сирии, стран СНГ и Прибалтики вручили дипломы о высшем и среднем образовании. Одиннадцать человек завершили обучение с отличием.

Вместе с дипломом иностранные студенты получили Европейские приложения к нему (European Diploma Supplement) на английском языке. Это официальный документ, который подтверждает успешное обучение студента в соответствии с европейскими стандартами. Европейским приложением можно воспользоваться при поступлении в зарубежные вузы, а также при трудоустройстве в иностранные компании.

Многие выпускники-иностранцы планируют остаться в России и продолжить свое обучение. Кто-то из ребят не хочет уезжать, потому что нашел здесь верных друзей, любовь и дом.

На базе Самаркандского государственного университета открылся Центр российского образования. В качестве вуза-координатора Центра выступает Северо-Кавказский федеральный университет. Открытие Центра приурочено к 30-летию установления дипломатических отношений между Россией и Узбекистаном.

Новые поправки к федеральному закону «О правовом положении иностранных граждан в Российской Федерации» должны существенно облегчить студентам-иностранцам многие процедуры получения и оформления своего статуса на территории России. А главное, по новому закону предусмотрена выдача разрешения на временное проживание в целях получения образования (РВПО).

Новый документ будет выдаваться помимо установленной квоты. При его наличии не будет требоваться ежегодная подача уведомления о проживании, отпадёт необходимость при выезде в другой город или домой на каникулы сниматься и потом вновь вставать на миграционный учёт и многое другое.

РВПО будет предоставляться иностранным студентам на весь период учёбы и ещё на 180 дней. Особый режим распространяется на учащегося и в случае перевода в другой университет. Кроме того, наличие этого документа даст возможность иностранцам не сдавать экзамены, доказывающие владение русским языком, знание истории и законодательства страны, а также освободит от необходимости ежегодной подачи уведомлений о проживании.

Также РВПО позволит его обладателю получить вид на жительство в России по облегчённой процедуре, льгота будет действовать в течение трёх лет после выпуска.

International Polytechnic Summer School 2021 brought together more than 400 students from 30 countries

International Polytechnic Summer School 2021 has officially started. In total, over 400 students from more than 30 countries of the world signed up for the programs of the International Polytechnic Summer School. Until the end of summer, they will study natural and engineering sciences; space, information and digital technologies; energy and civil engineering, Life Science, business and economics, Russian language and culture.

And, of course, it is difficult to imagine the International Polytechnic Summer School without educational modules of the Russian language and culture. This year students from Spain, Belgium, Turkey, China, Japan, Germany, Bangladesh, Poland and Indonesia signed up for it. Most of the participants chose modules for intensive study of the Russian language. All classes are held in an interactive format, suggest a high degree of involvement in the educational process and constant interaction with teachers in real time. One of the main goals of these programs is to help students overcome insecurity and start communicate in Russian.

For better immersion not only in the language, but also in the cultural environment, virtual tours to the main sights of the city, master classes on Russian cuisine, Russian traditions and art are provided for the participants.
Students of higher language levels who are in St. Petersburg, after graduating from the summer school, will have an additional opportunity to pass the State testing in Russian as a foreign language (TORFL) at the certified Testing Center of the Polytechnic University.

VSU students of different years of study - about life abroad

Is Voronezh an international city? Is Voronezh State University an alma mater for students from all over the world? Do the borders between universities, cities and countries remain today? In the era of global integration and tolerance, the heroes who once connected their lives with VSU thought about these issues.

For many foreign students coming to Voronezh, the first place of study is the Institute of International Education of VSU. So, it was with the Parfait Lute Armel. He came to Voronezh in 2002 from the Congo (Central Africa). He has lived in Russia for almost ten years. After finishing his studies, Parfait left to France. He remembers with gratitude the teachers from the Institute of International Education of VSU, who helped him to realize himself and did not get lost in a foreign country.
Divin Niambi came to Voronezh from the Congo in 2012. Seven years spent in Voronezh, Divin considers the best in her life: talks at the city sites, University, friends...and so on.

"The recent years in Voronezh, were the most difficult and sad for me”, - says Divin, – “It was hard to leave the city that became my home."
Today Divin lives in France, studying at the University of Paris and works. She says that if there were no covid, she would be in Russia now.
Konstantin Nchama Bakale Okomo came from Equatorial Guinea to Voronezh in 2014. Now she is completing a master's degree at the Faculty of Journalism of VSU.

"My living in Voronezh over the years helped me to understand how to live with people of other nationalities." – says Konstantina.
The first years was complicated, but Constantina admitted that living in a foreign country is one of the best periods of her life.

Nina Bryantseva graduated from the Bachelor's degree in Journalism at VSU in 2019 and entered the Master's program at the University of Tartu in Estonia. While studying at the Voronezh journalism faculty, she managed to work not only in local newspapers, but also at a nuclear power plant, and as a conductor on trains... It was not a part-time job or work on a diploma, but an effort to try new things – to find herself.

Студенты ВГУ разных лет – о жизни за рубежом

Воронеж – интернациональный город? А Воронежский государственный университет – альма-матер для студентов со всего мира? Остаются ли сегодня границы между вузами, городами и странами? В эпоху всемирной интеграции и толерантности на эти вопросы ответили герои, однажды связавшие свою жизнь с ВГУ.

Для многих иностранных студентов, приезжающих в Воронеж, первое место учёбы – Институт международного образования ВГУ. Так было и с Парфе Лют Армель. Он приехал в Воронеж в 2002 году из Конго (Центральная Африка). В России он живет почти десять лет. После окончания учебы Парфе уехал во Францию. С благодарностью вспоминает учителей из Института международного образования ВГУ, которые помогли реализоваться и не потеряться в чужой стране.

Дивин Ниамби приехала в Воронеж из Конго в 2012 году. Семь лет, проведённые в Воронеже, Дивин считает лучшими в своей жизни: выступления на городских площадках, университет, друзья…
«Последние годы в Воронеже стали для меня самыми сложными и грустными, – говорит Дивин, – тяжело было расставаться с городом, ставшим родным.»
Сегодня Дивин живёт во Франции – учится в парижском университете, работает. Говорит, что, если бы не ковид, – была бы сейчас в России.

Константина Нчама Бакале Окомо приехала из Экваториальной Гвинеи в Воронеж в 2014 году. Сейчас заканчивает магистратуру факультета журналистики ВГУ.
«Моё пребывание в Воронеже за эти годы помогло мне больше понять, а именно – как жить с людьми других национальностей.» – делится Константина.

В первые годы было непросто, но Константина признаёт, что жизнь в чужой стране – один из лучших периодов ее жизни.
Нина Брянцева в 2019 году закончила бакалавриат журфака ВГУ и поступила в магистратуру Тартуского университета в Эстонии.
Ещё в пору учёбы на воронежском журфаке она успела поработать не только в местных газетах, но и на атомной станции, и проводницей в поездах… Дело было не в подработке и не в дипломе, а в стремлении пробовать новое – искать себя.

St. Petersburg University invites foreign applicants to learn Russian and prepare for university programmes

Applications to the supplementary educational programme ‘The Preparatory Course (for foreign citizens)’ are accepted at St. Petersburg University.
St. Petersburg University helps foreign citizens better prepare for bachelor’s, specialist’s, master’s and doctoral university programmes. The first semester is totally dedicated to learning Russian as a foreign language. In their second semester, students choose the specialization and begin studying their major subjects. Applicants can choose between the five options: natural sciences, technical engineering, humanities, economics, or medicine and biology.

At the end of the course, students take an assessment in the subjects of their specialization, and the test in Russian as a foreign language (TORFL — 1). Students who successfully complete the course receive the official certificate from St. Petersburg University.

The applicant and the university shall sign a contract for paid educational services. Foreign citizens may choose one of the educational formats:
offline studying (the application deadline is 25 August, 2021), or
studying with the use of distance learning technologies (the documents must be submitted before 20 August, 2021).

For distance learners, classes will be organized online, and all learning materials will be available electronically. The final test in Russian will also be held using distance technologies.
